This partnership between a designer and a local magazine distributor launched in 2010 to create much needed employment in Eswatini, Southern Africa. Sustainable design, ethical production, transparency, and craftsmanship are core beliefs. The factory has developed new and innovative techniques to use only waste paper and change the perception of recycled materials. Waste magazines and newspapers are transformed into original designs by the team of all female artisans. Each product is made by hand with basic tools, the sun’s rays and materials sourced as locally as possible.

Our products are all handmade by women that are employed full time at our workshop with permanent contracts, using 100% waste newspaper, water based glues and varnishes and pigments.

Made of pulp or paper mache and brass wire.
