Make Up Bag – Multi-Colour Hip-Pip Tassel

Designed exclusively for Zeitz MOCAA by Hip-Pip. Hip-Pip was born in 2001. Founder Pippa McLeod and seamstress Doris Mtotywa have been working together for over 15 years and do most of the work themselves, apart from cutting which is outsourced locally. They support local with most of Hip-Pip’s raw materials (fabric, leather, zips etc.) coming from South Africa or Africa. They concentrate on handbags, cosmetic purses and small leather goods, but hope to pursue a lifestyle range as well as a limited fashion range in the future.

These purses feature fabulous bright African textiles as well as fun quirky tassel zippers made out of suede or leather.
