alela Scarf features inspiring designs from young artists in the Lalela after school programs. A large percentage of the proceeds from each sale go towards helping young innovators find their voice and overcome the narrative of poverty through the transformative power of arts education.

How your purchase gives back: Proceeds from your purchase fund Lalela, providing arts education for at-risk youth to spark creative thinking and awaken the entrepreneurial spirit. The artwork was created by Siyamthanda, a learner from our Zeitz MOCAA programme which he joined in Grade 8. At 16, he has actively paved his path towards achieving his dream of being a professional artist.
