Postcard – Multi-Colour Marc Padeau When We See Us A5
$3.50
Padeu was born in 1990 in Melong, Cameroon. Previous exhibitions include Peres Projects, Berlin, National Museum of Yaounde, Cameroon and the National Gallery of Contemporary Art, Cameroon. His work has been acquired for the permanent collection of Art Gallery of Ontario, Canada.
Marc Padeau postcard from the new exhibition titled `When We See Us: A Century of Black Figuration in Painting’. Artists explore different themes, including that of `Repose’. Lounging, hands locked behind our heads, relishing the peace that comes with being still, we rest, unwind and indulge. Fully reclined, sinking into soft plush sofas, limbs stretched out, there is no rush as we revel in idleness. When in solitude, we sit, stare, dream, introspect.
A5 postcard.
